About This Service

DBD Arena is a community-run matchmaking service for competitive, custom Dead by Daylight matches. It exists so that outcomes come down to skill rather than the luck of the public game: matches run under published regulations on fixed maps, players are paired by a per-killer skill rating, and that rating is something you build and can see.

Unofficial service

DBD Arena is not an official Dead by Daylight service and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the game’s publisher.

• Matches are played in custom (private) games, outside official matchmaking.
• Service ratings are separate from, and do not affect, your official in-game ratings or progression.

How it runs

The live service runs in Discord — registering, finding a match, readying up, and reporting results all happen there. This website is the public handbook: it explains how everything works, but the actions themselves happen in Discord.
